Lake Ashi, or Hakone Lake, is a scenic lake in the Hakone area of Kanagawa Prefecture in Honshu, Japan. It is a crater lake that lies along the southwest wall of the caldera of Mount Hakone, a complex volcano. The lake is known for its views of Mt. Fuji and its numerous hot springs. A number of pleasure boats and ferries traverse the lake, providing scenic views for tourists and passengers.
Jikkokutoge, or the so-called Ten Countries Pass lies at a height of 770 meters and stretches through the Hakone mountains. Enjoy a fantastic panoramic view and grasp the width of the land. Overlooking the scenery of Mount Fuji, you can also see to the farthest Miyakejima Izu Island.
With approximately 1,250 years of history, Atami Onsen is a traditional hot springs resort that was even presented to the Shogun himself. Ranging from large fully equipped hotels to intimate inns nestled up in the mountains, the lodgings are among the finest in Japan.
The pleasant hot spring resort of Shuzenji on the Izu Peninsula is named after the local temple. Shuzenji Temple was founded about 1200 years ago. Izu is attracting many visitors since ancient times. Shuzenji is surrounded by a beautiful bamboo forrest.
This park features cute penguins and sea otters and other marine animal shows, that are very popular. The aquarium also is home to dolphins and about 370 different species of fish.
We will also visit Japans capital Tokyo, one of the most exciting tourist locations. Modern skyscrapers in Shinjuku, the Edo perioid tempel area Asakusa, electrical products shopping paradise Akihabara, Ginza where world famous shops concentrate and Odaiba are only a few of many popular attractions offered in Tokyo.
