NTA×SDGs -Circular Economeets®-

Nippon Travel Agency (NTA) begins offering ‘Circular Economeets®’ as a service for municipalities, corporations, and organizations. 

A circular economy is an economic activity that recycles raw materials from procurement to production, consumption, and recycling, and creates added value through services and other means for items that would otherwise be discarded. It is attracting attention as an economic model that recycles all things as resources.

Circular Economeets® is a sustainable MICE operation that offsets food waste and CO₂ emissions generated during conferences and events (MICE).

Our role is visualizing greenhouse gas emissions generated by MICE events and proposing ideal offsetting measures. For events involving catering, we collect food waste and recycle it into new resources, offering this service to corporations. We are working in collaboration with partner hotels, PCOs, and other organizations.
