NTA received the Excellence Award of the Tour Grand Prix 2024 in the Inbound Travel category

The Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA) held the announcement and awards ceremony for the "Tour Grand Prix 2024" on Wednesday, July 10th. During the ceremony, Nippon Travel Agency was honored with the Excellence Award in the inbound Travel category for the "Great Nature Gourmet Tour with a Chef" tour.

Judges' comments:

"This tour allows visitors to fully enjoy Hokkaido's rich natural environment with food as the theme, which is always at the top of the list of objectives for a trip to Japan. Based on the concept of "traveling with a chef and enjoying local ingredients in their most delicious form" , the tour actively promote local production and local consumption, and not only focus on food, but also harvest the rich ingredients nurtured by the great nature of Hokkaido. It was highly evaluated for incorporating programs that can only be experienced in Japan, such as hands-on experiences, an outdoor lunch in a field using harvested ingredients, and a Japanese cooking experience including the making of Japanese sweets. It is expected to promote the attraction of foreign visitors to Japan not only to Hokkaido, but also to other regions of Japan through horizontal development."

Traveling with a chef and experiencing local food through local production for local consumption was evaluated as a horizontal development to attract visitors to Japan to local regions.
