Vol9 Safe to visit Japan ? 09 May.2011
This time, let us talk about Japan. Almost two months have passed since the earthquake and tsunami hit Tohoku region in Japan. Many countries lowered or lifted their travel alert to Japan, but we feel many visitors are still hesitant to visit Japan.
Some news & articles shown in other countries explain as though the whole nation is damaged by the earthquake & tsunami, and is exposed to radiation. But as we reported on Vol.5, the radiation level in Tokyo, 230km away from Fukushima, is not at the level of danger. The areas even further away have no damages or effects what so ever from the earthquake & radiation problem. |
Here are comparison of the distance between the cities and the Fukushima nuclear plant. |
