Unique venue “Nijo Castle” for a party in Kyoto
News | 10/11/2015
Nijo Castle was established in 1603 as Tokugawa Ieyasu’s Kyoto Residence during his shogunate. It is a site you should not miss while in Kyoto.
Nijo Castle can be divided into three areas: the Honmaru (main circle of defense), the Ninomaru (secondary circle of defense) and the gardens that encircle the Honmaru and Ninomaru. The entire castle grounds and the Honmaru are surrounded by stone walls and moats.
Now some of the premises of the castle are opened to the public after the closing hours. We can use one of the buildings to have a party or hold an exhibition.
