ACCOMMODATION: MATSUE

Day1 KYOTO - YASUGI (ADACHI MUSEUM) - MATSUE (D)

Bullet train to Okayama (Travel Time 70min.). Change to express train for Yasugi station.
From Yasugi, take museum free shuttle bus (Travel Time 20min.) to Adachi Museum of Art.
Visit Adachi Museum set in a beautiful natural environment, well known for its Japanese
gardens and its collection of contemporary Japanese paintings including artworks by Yokoyama Taikan, a famous Japanese painter.
Transfer to Yasugi station by museum free shuttle bus.
Local train for Matsue station (23min.) and transfer to your accommodation in Matsue Shinji-ko (Lake Shinji) Onsen by taxi.  (Travel Time 10min.)

ACCOMMODATION: MATSUE

Day2 MATSUE - IZUMO TAISHA SHRINE - MATSUE (B/D)

Walk to Matsue Shinji-ko Onsen station.
Transfer to Izumotaishamae Station by local train via Kawato. (Travel Time 60min.)
Visit Izumo Taisha Shrine and around, famous for myth of old Japan.
Transfer back to Matsue Shinji-ko Onsen by local train  enjoying some local area along the Shinji-ko Lake on route.

Day3 MATSUE - KYOTO (B)

Free at leisure in Matsue until departure.
Matsue is called "Water City" with the network of rivers and canals running in the city and pleasure boat trip is recommended through the waterway surrounding the Matsue Castle built in 1611.
As another option, you can also visit Iwami Ginzan, a World Heritage site.
(JR Matsue - JR Ohtashi 53min. by express train and bus to Iwami Ginzan 28min.)
Make your own way to JR Matsue Station. Take express train to Okayama, then bullet train to Kyoto(Travel Time 230min.)
