The Himeji Castle stands as a representative of Japan. Together with the Horyuji Temple it was registered in 1993 as one of the first World Cultural Heritages in Japan. Because it resembles an egret taking a flight , the Castle is also known as Shirasagi-jô (“White Egret Castle”).
Built inside the sea and registered as a World Cultural Heritage, the ancient shrine shows its proud and majestic architectural beauty. It is said that the shrine was founded in 593, but has been re-established in 1168 by Taira no Kiyomori in the shinden zukuri style, an aristocratic mansions style of the Heian period.
Since ancient times Kobe held the position of an international trading port and developed its natural charm of a port city. Go to Motomachi for gathering popular brand-name goods from outlet stores or to just buy simple trinkets and collector’s items. Also take your time to enjoy the shiny nightview of Kobe, sparkling brilliantly like diamonds.
In addition to historical exhibitions and a fashion show to demonstrate the beauty of the traditional japanese clothings, you can also experience the feeling of wearing a 12-layer kimono. In the second floor you can see weaving performances by skilled craftsmen to get a more comprehensive understanding of the Nishijin. If you are interested in handicrafts, you can also buy clothings and accessories here.
The Lake was formed in the caldera of Mount Hakone after the volcano’s last eruption 3000 years ago. The “Fuji-Reflection” which can be seen from the south side of the Cedar Avenue is one of the superb views and also a symbol of Hakone. Experience that beautiful natural landscape during a pleasurable boat trip.
Together with Lake Ashi, Hakone is a very popular tourist site for its beautiful scenic views. Owakudani is a volcanic valley around a crater created during the last eruption of Mount Hakone thousands of years ago. On clear days you have a great view of Mount Fuji.
We will also visit Japans capital Tokyo, one of the most exciting tourist locations. Modern skyscrapers in Shinjuku, the Edo perioid tempel area Asakusa, electrical products shopping paradise Akihabara, the political center of Japan’s National Diet Building and Imperial Palace are only a few of many popular attractions offered in Tokyo.
After the Meiji era, Ginza has evolved as a symbol of cultured streets. It is the most famous shopping street with many department and clothing stores. At the same time, the roadsides are lined up with many various dining restaurants.
