The town of Niseko, on the northern island, Hokkaido, won the title of 'Japan's Best Ski Resort' at the World Ski Awards 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 are the biggest and one of the most popular clusters of ski resorts on Japan's northernmost main island. With an average annual snowfall of over 15 meters, is one of the snowiest ski resorts in Japan and thus the world. The Niseko ski resort receives the Powderhounds award for the best ski terrain in Japan every year and it is suited to skiers and boarders of all ability levels. Niseko has beautiful scenery of white mountain is made up of four interconnected areas, as An'nupuri, Niseko Village, Hirafu, and Hanazono, and offers the large variety of groomed runs that are ideal for families, beginners, and intermediates. For ski enthusiasts, Niseko offers very impressive options that are great off-piste skiing on the slackcountry and backcountry, so there is permitted both off-piste and out of bounds riding.
The main difference that sets Niseko apart from other Japanese ski resorts may fun the combination of both alpine and tree skiing.
